Dal 1998
gli Skarabazoo portano in giro sui palchi di mezz'Italia la loro
musica. Due album, un EP, svariate demo e compilation, centinaia di
concerti in centri sociali, feste di piazza, festival estivi,
locali. Palchi divisi con big italiani e stranieri. Dopo un periodo
di assenza e di riflessione, che ha portato ad un rinnovamento
profondo nella line-up della band, gli Skarabazoo tornano con "Ti
dirò". Il nuovo album degli Skarabazoo è, già dal titolo, una
dichiarazione di intenti. Oggi la band ha qualcosa da dire. E lo fa
a suo modo, con un mix di Ska, Rythm'n'Blues, Rock'n'Roll,
Rocksteady e Reggae, una miscela musicale esplosiva ed energetica e
con testi ironici e taglienti. Ti dirò è come gli Skarabazoo vedono
il mondo.
Skarabazoo have been playing their music all around Italy since
1998. They recorded many demos, one e.p. ,two albums and took part
of several compilations. They played gigs in squats, pubs, summer
festivals and every situation was suitable for them and their songs.
After a long stop, useful to make plans for their future, they
changed line-up in a radical way and came back with an album named
"Ti Dirò". This title is a "manifesto" about what Skarabazoo want to
do and how they want to play. Nowadays they got something to say and
they wanna do it in their own way, mixing Ska,R&B,R'n'Roll,Rocksteady
and Reggae: a powerful and explosive musical patchanka with
brilliant and ironics lyrics. "Ti dirò" is what Skarabazoo think
about the world we live.

seit 1998 bringen die Skarabazoo ihre Musik auf die Buehnen Italies.
Die Band hat bereits zwei Alben, ein EP, verschiedene Demos und
Compilations herausgebracht, sowie hunderte von Konzerten in
autonomen Zentren, Feste auf Plaetzen, in Lokalen sowie auf
Sommerfestivals gegeben: Unterschiedlichste Buehnen mit Publikum aus
Italien und aller Welt. Nach einer Auszeit und Phase der Reflektion,
kehren die Skarabazoo nun mit "Ti dirò" zurueck. Wie der Titel der
Skarabazoo bereits sagt, ist das neue Album eine Deklaration/Offenbarung
von Anstrengungen und Versuchen. Heute hat die Band etwas zu sagen.
Und sie tut dies auf ihre Art und Weise, mit einem Mix aus Ska,
Rythm'n'Blues, Rock'n'Roll, Rocksteady und Reggae - eine explosive
und energetische Mischung mit ironisch sowie praegnanten/durchdringenden
